EXHIBIT FACTS

RENTAL COSTS

Participation fee of $10,000 monthly. A 50% deposit is required at contract signing and the balance no later than thirty days prior to the Exhibit shipping date to borrower. This participation fee does not include shipping from previous venue or insurance costs, or installing and dismantling, which are the responsibility of the borrower.

TIME AT EACH VENUE

A minimum of two months (8 to 12 weeks) rental is required due to time requirements for proper shipping, assembly, and dismantling of the Exhibit.

SHIPPING

A 53 ft., tall box, tractor-trailer with lift-gate is required for shipping all of the Exhibit crates.

A mutually agreed upon, licensed and insured public carrier shall do shipping. Appropriate storage for crates during exhibit is necessary.

ESTIMATED NEEDS TO INSTALL/DISMANTLE

The Exhibit will require four people working two days to unpack and install.

A comprehensive installation manual is included. Storage for shipping crates is necessary once Exhibit is unpacked. Dismantling requires two to three days.

SPACE NEEDS

This 1,600 square foot (roughly 40 feet by 40 feet in normal configuration) self-contained interactive traveling exhibit consists of four approximately 400 square foot inter-connected modules, which can be separated if necessary. The Exhibit is free-standing and hanging space is not necessary. Additionally, the Exhibit can be reduced in size and scope to accommodate smaller venues.

EXHIBIT COMPONENTS

The four, 400 sq. ft. modules, ("The Living Soil," "Healthy Soil," "Healthy Food," and "Healthy People") have wall-to-wall carpeting, assorted interlocking entrances, connecting tunnel, 8-foot high structural wall panels, interactive wall panels, interactive stations including computers and microscopes, stations with open-captioned DVD videos, carrot-sculpture, and vividly colored graphic murals.

The Exhibit comes with all the necessary electronic equipment, such as: TV monitors, DVD player, audio amplifier and speakers, computer stations with touch-screen monitors, halogen light fixtures, and all necessary software, connectors, and wiring.

PRESS MATERIALS

A reasonable number of color copy prints of the Exhibit, to be used for publicity purposes, will be provided to the borrower by the lender approximately four weeks before the arrival of the Exhibit, unless requested earlier by the borrower.

EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS

The Rodale Institute will provide copies of a brochure entitled "Kid’s Re-generation™ Take Your Health Into Your Own Hands: 10 steps to a healthier you and a healthier planet," to be distributed during the Exhibit. In addition, a 12 page educational pamphlet will be available from the website in a .pdf format for download and distribution. See additional details in contract.

PUBLIC/HANDICAP
ACCESS TO THE EXHIBIT

The public shall be admitted to the Exhibit without any restrictions involving race or ethnic heritage and with reasonable provision for its accessibility to the handicapped.

INSURANCE

A wall-to-wall Certificate of Insurance for shipping, storage, and on-site coverage in the amount of $500,000 will be required from all borrowing institutions.

SECURITY

This Exhibit includes computers and interactive displays with small removable parts. A trained, professional staff is required at all times during Exhibit display to provide for overall security.

RIGHTS

Character and video rights have been secured for national tour sites at no additional charge to borrowing institutions. The Johnny Earthworm character, all text, artwork, and illustrations in the Exhibit are copyrighted and carry all restrictions associated with copyrighted materials. None can be reproduced without the written permission of The Rodale Institute.

SITE SPONSORS

The lender must approve sponsors for site exhibitions in advance.
